Works fine...but startup is LOUD
July 01, 2025Works fine but why does it sound like something is wrong when it starts? For $9k you would think Lennox could dampen the startup somehow....it sounds like someone is bashing the side of the unit every time it starts up. My 35 year old Trane unit was quieter than this thing, so I dragged the installer back out and had him check the inrush current and everything was within parameters. I guess this is just not on the Lennox engineering team's checklist.
