What harmful household odors should I be aware of?

If you ever smell gas in your home, it’s important to get help immediately from a qualified source, such as your local fire department or gas provider. In most cities, fire officials can also do a safety inspection if you have a concern about chemical odors. Also, one gas that’s odorless and highly toxic is carbon monoxide, so it’s a good idea to invest in a CO2 detector, which can be purchased at your local hardware store.
